Our Programs
Designed to Empower
Women’s Program
Our women’s programs are designed to uplift, empower, and reconnect. Through a safe, supportive, all-female environment, participants engage in dynamic boxing sessions, mindset coaching, and mindfulness practices that build confidence, emotional strength, and self-belief.
Led by strong female mentors, these programs create space for women to heal, grow, and stand together in sisterhood.
Youth Program
Our youth program is a powerful blend of movement, mindset, and mindfulness designed to support young people in metro areas and remote communities, aged 10–18. Through non-contact boxing, interactive workshops, and guided reflection, participants build confidence, learn emotional regulation, and develop resilience. Each session offers a safe space to express, grow, and connect, helping youth navigate life’s challenges with strength, purpose, and self-belief.
Corporate
Champion Ways offers corporate training and professional development days that inspire teams through the same powerful principles we use in our community programs, resilience, mindset, and connection to create stronger leadership within businesses. Led by world champion boxer Lulu Hawton, these sessions combine movement-based activities, mindset coaching, and mindfulness to improve leadership, communication, and team wellbeing.
Testimonials
Don’t take our word for it, here are some things community leaders, local government & education professionals have to say about us.
Your work with Leonora’s young people has been outstanding. The boxing sessions you organised outside of regular hours created a safe and positive space where students could build confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills. These sessions not only engaged our students in a meaningful way but also helped strengthen the connection between the school, the youth, and the wider community.
You’ve built a strong professional relationship with our school, the admin team, and the students. The respect and rapport you’ve established mean you are now considered part of the Leonora family.
The commitment and energy you both bring have made a real impact. Students spoke positively about the sessions, and the wider community saw the value in having such engaging and healthy activities available locally. Your care and dedication have not gone unnoticed.
I strongly support your work and look forward to welcoming you back to continue this important program."

As a proud Aboriginal Elder and Founding Director of Indigenous Services Australia, I wish to give my full support for the Champion Ways Program and the inspiring work being led by Lulu and Michelle.
What makes their work truly powerful is the unique combination of lived experience and professional qualifications they bring. This lived knowledge, combined with their deep training and professional expertise, allows them to connect with community in ways that are both authentic and transformative.
Through Champion Ways, Lulu and Michelle offer much more than a program. They offer healing, education, empowerment, and a genuine pathway for change. I have seen firsthand the way they nurture individuals with care and respect, while also challenging them to grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to their own potential.
The outcomes are clear: people feel seen, heard, and supported. Young people in particular are finding healthier ways forward, away from cycles of harm and towards futures they can be proud of. This is the kind of work that strengthens not only individuals, but entire communities.
From an Elder’s perspective, I can say with confidence that Lulu and Michelle are making a real and lasting impact. Their blend of wisdom, life experience, cultural respect, and professional skill is rare, and it deserves every opportunity to continue. I strongly endorse their work and encourage all forms of support to ensure Champion Ways can keep changing lives and communities for the better.

I have been impressed by the holistic approach the Champion Ways facilitators implement the programs content, engaging with the youth in our program in a positive and hands on manner.
Not only does the program benefit the young people in the group through fitness and hard physical exercise via the boxing mentoring provided, it provides a holistic journey via mindset, mindfulness and wellbeing practices allowing the youth to focus on self-growth. Champion Ways use role modelling, lived experience, emotional regulation techniques and overall wellbeing as tools to help young people become better versions of themselves, providing the participants with drive and focus.
I have seen improvements in behaviour, self-esteem, fitness levels and engagement with our program in the youth attending the Champion Ways Program that is held at our East Vic Park offices each Wednesday. The young men thoroughly enjoy the program and it is evident in their participation.
The Waalitj Foundation feels blessed to be associated with Michelle and Lulu from Champion Ways and looks forward to continued success through being linked with their program.
